Arabic alphabets with vowel signs (Fathaha and Fathaha+alif)

This post is in response to a request from a parent (Sept 2019).

The exercise deals with the learning of Arabic Vowels.
The short vowel and the long vowel.

The short vowel:Fathaha = (Madd al-qaseer ) = ﹷ

The short vowel in this exercise can be identified by the inclined line (  َـ Fatahah - الفتحة ) on the alphabet. This is called Madd al-qaseer.

The long vowel:

Fathaha+al-alif = (Madd al-thaveel) =  ﹷ + ﺍ     

The long vowel in this exercise can be identified by the alphabet Alif. The presence of Alif after the fataha is called Madd al-thaveel.
