Unzuru haazaa asad kabeer,wa haazaa asad sagheer.
Look, this lion is big, and this lion is small.
نعم الأسد يلعب مع الشبل
Naa’m, al-asad yalabu maa’sh-shibl.
Yes,the lion is playing with the Cub.
الغزال يجري ويقفز فوق السور
Al-ghazaal yajree wa yaqfizu fawqa as-soor.
The deer is running and jumping over the fence.
خذي هذه التفاحة يازرافة.
Khuzee haazihee ath-thuffaah ya ziraafah.
Take this apple O’ Giraffe.
لا، هي تأكل من ورق الشجر
Laa hiya thakulu min waraq ash-shajar.
No, it eats the leaf from the tree.
احترس الفيل يرش الماء.
Ihtharas al-feel yarush-shu al-maa.
Watch out for the elephant splashing water.
هو يرش الماء بخرطومه.
Huwa yarush-shu al-maa bi khurtoomi-hi.
It splashes the water with its trunk.
ما هذا؟
Maa haazaa?
What is this?
هذا ثعبان يزحف على الأرض .
Haazaa subaan yazhafu alal-ardh.
This snake crawls on the ground.

Grammar involved In this example:
The second person is masculine so the word خذ ( meaning "take" ) is in the masculine form.
The object here ( banana ) is feminine as ( الموزة ) ends with - ة so the word "this” also becomes feminine and is represented by هذه .

Khuzee Haazaa al-jaras.
Take this bell.
Grammar involved In this example:
The second person is feminine so the word خذي (meaning take) is in the feminine form.
The object here ( bell ) is masculine as ( الجرس ) does not end with - ة so the word "this” is also masculine and is represented by هذا .
