يدخل بدر وأبوه دكان الملابس

Yadkhulu Badr wa aboohu dukkan al-malaabis.

Badr and his father enter the clothes shop.




2)


هو يريد بدلة بنية .

Huwa yureedu badlah bun-niy-yah

He wants a brown suit.



3)

يشتري بدر قميصا أصفر للبدلة .
Yashtharee Badr qameesan asfara lil-badlah.

Badr buys a yellow shirt for the suit.



4)

ويشتري حزاما وحذاء وجوربا.
Wa yashtharee hizaaman wa hizaa wa jawraban.

And he buys a belt, shoes and socks.



5)

البدلة ضيقة.
Al-badlah dai-iqah.

The suit is tight.



6)

يلبس بدر البدلة البنّية.
Yalbisu Badr al-badlah al-bun-niy-yah

Badr wears the brown suit.



7)

يلبس بدر بدلة ثانية .
Yalbisu Badr badlah thaaniyah.


Badr wears another suit.



8)
هذه البدلة واسعة .
Haazihi al-badlah waasiyah.

This suit is wide(meaning large).



9)

ليس في الدكان بدلة مناسبة لبدر.
Laisa fid-duk-kaan badlah munaasibah li-Badr.

The shop does not have a suitable suit for Badr.

I want a socks for shoes.


تفضّل الجورب.

Tafaddal al-jawrab.

3)


أريد حوضاً صغيرًا للسمكة.

Ureedu hawdan sagheeran lil samakah.

I want a small aquarium.


تفضّلي الحوض.

Tafaddal al-hawdh.

Please have this aquarium.




4)


أريد بيتًا صغيرًا للكلب.

Ureedu baitan sagheeran lil kalb.

Read as :

Al-badlah fi al-sallah
Al-badlah zurqaa'
Al-qamis fi al-sallah


Meaning :

The Suit is in the basket.
The suit is blue (in colour).
The shirt is in the basket.

Arabic Text : 

يلبس الولد الحزام
يلبس الولد الجورب
يلبس الولد الحذاء

Read as :

Yalbisu al-waladu al-hizaam
Yalbisu al-waladu al-jawrab
Yalbisu al-waladu al-hidhaa'


Meaning :

The boy wears the belt
The boy wears the socks
The boy wears the shoes

Arabic Text : 

ستفتح العلبة
فتحت العلبة
في العلبة قميص

Read as :

Sataftahu al-ulbah
Fatahat al-ulbah
Fee al-ulbah qamees


Meaning :

About to open the box.
She opened the box.
The shirt is in the box.



4.

Arabic Text : 

هذه خمسة ظروف
هذه ثلاثة أقلام
هذه أقلام وظروف

Read as :

Haazihee khamsah zuroof.
Haazihee Thalaatha Aqlaam.
Haazihee Aqlaam wa zuroof.

Meaning :

These are five envelopes
These are three pens
These are pens and envelopes



5.

Arabic Text : 

الفلاحة تشرب اللبن
ذيل البقرة قصير.
تحلب الفلّاحة البقرة


Read as :

Al-fallaahah thashrabu al-laban.
Dheel al-baqarah qaseer.
Tahlab al-fallaahah al-baqarah.

Meaning :

The (lady) farmer is drinking milk.
The tail of the cow is short.
The (lady) farmer is milking the cow.



6.

Arabic Text : 

هل تأخذ هذا القميص؟
هل تريد هذه المظلة؟
ما رأيك في هذه البدلة؟

Read as :

Hal takhuzu haazaa al-qamees?
Hal tureedu Haazihee al-muzillah?
Ma rayuka fee Haazihee al-badalah?

Meaning :

Do you want to take this shirt?
Do you want this umbrella?
What do you think of this suit?

Look at the  picture and complete the sentence:

Arabic Text : 

يحمل الولد سلّة في يده

Read as :

Yahmilu al-waladu sallah fee yadihee.

Meaning :

The boy carries a basket in his hand.





2)

Arabic Text : 

هل تريدين هذا الحذاء الأخضر؟

Read as :

Hal thureedeena haazaa al-hizaa al-akhdar.

Meaning :

Do you want this green shoe?






3) 

Arabic Text : 

ما رأيك في هذه البدلة الزرقاء؟

Read as :

Maa rayuka fee haazaa al-badlah al-zarqaa?

Meaning :

What do you think of this blue suit?





4)

Arabic Text : 

هي تغسل يدها بالماء والصّابون.

Read as :

Hiya taghsilu yadahaa bilmaai wa al-saaboon.


Meaning :

She is washing her hand with soap and water.

في الصندوق قلم و جرس.
Fee as-sandooqi Qalam wa Jaras
There is a pen and bell in the box.


Look at the pictures and arrange the sentences in order.

Inda Taariq badlah zarqaa.
Taariq has a blue coat.

ذهب طارق إلى دكان الملابس
Zahaba Taariq ilaa dukaan al-malaabis.
