Exercise 1 a :
Dialogues:

سأمشي على الحبل.

Sa-amshee alal habl.

I shall walk on the rope.

هذا الكلب يقفز في النار.

Haazaa al-kalb yaqfizu fin-naar.

This dog is jumping into the fire.

وهذا القرد يركب الدراجة.

Wa haazaa Al-Qird yarkabu ad-darraajah.

And this monkey is riding a bicycle.

انظري إلى البنت.

Unzuree (when addressed to a feminine person) ilaa al-binth.

Look at the girl.

هي تقف على الحصان.

Hiya thaqifu alaa al-Hisaan.

She is standing on the horse.

انظر. النمر يقف فوق الكرة كبيرة.

Unzur( when addressed to a masculine person).An-nimr yaqifu fawqa al-kurrah al-kabeerah.

Look. The tiger is standing on top of the big ball.

هو يمشي بالكرة.

Huwa Yamshee bil Kurrah.

It is walking with the ball.

Listen to the Sentences and understand the meanings:

Arabic Text:
يجلس الأطفال في الخيمة الكبيرة

Read As: Yajlisu al-athfaal fil khaimah al-kabeerah.

Meaning: The children are shooting in the huge tent.

Arabic Text:
يمشي المهرج على الحبل

Read As: Yamshee al-muharriju Alaa al-Habl.

Meaning: The clown is walking on the rope.

Arabic Text:
يقفز الكلب في النار

Read As: Yaqfizu al-kalb fee an-naar.

Meaning:The dog is jumping in the fire.

Arabic Text:
يركب القرد الدراجة .

Read As: Yarkabu Al-Qird ad-darraajah

Meaning: The monkey is riding the bicycle.

Arabic Text:
يمشي النمر بالكرة الكبيرة

Read As: Yamshee an-nimr bil-kurrah al-kabeerah.

Meaning: The tiger is walking with the big ball.

Arabic Text:
تقف البنت على الحصان

Read As: Thaqifu Al-Waladu Alaa Al-Hisaan.

Meaning: The boy is standing on the horse.

Arabic Text:
يضحك الأطفال من المهرج.

Read As: Yadhaku al-athfaal min al-muharrij.

Meaning: The children are laughing from (the actions of) the clown.

هو يقفز في النار .

Huwa Yaqfizu fin-naar.

It is jumping over fire.

أنظر إلى البنت .

Unzur ilaa al-binth.

Look at the girl.

هي تقف على الحصان.

Hiya Yasbahu fil maa.

It is swimming in the water.

أنظري إلى الثعبان .

Unzuree ilaa as-subaan.

Look at the snake.

هو يزحف على الأرض .

Huwa Yazhafu Alaa al-ardh.

It is crawling on the floor.

سأصعد على السلم.

Sa-Asádu Alas-sullam.

I shall climb the ladder.

I shall sit on the chair.
