In this lesson, the students are introduced to the characters.We can see the following characters(same characters will be repeatedly appearing in the book for easy identification):




شَـرِ يـفَـة - Sha-ree-fah - ( The name of ) the teacher :




Shareefah: ( The name of ) The teacher. She is in green, blue costume and wearing glasses. She is holding a paper in her hand.


Arabic Text Book 1 Chapter 1 Amal How to read and write


Amal: She is a student. She is wearing an orange and blue costume. In this lesson, she is sitting on the bench facing the teacher.


Badr: He is a student. He is wearing a violet shirt and blue pants.


Taariq: He is a student. He is wearing a white shirt yellow waistcoat and blue pants.


Hisham: He is a student. He is wearing a white shirt red waistcoat and blue pants.


Noorah: She is a student. She wearing an all-white costume. Her hair is blonde.


Reem: She is a student. She is wearing an all yellow costume. Her hair is black.
